WARRANTY POLICY
We want to be upfront and honest about warranties at Abundo, so there’s no confusion if something goes wrong with a product down the line.
1. Abundo Does Not Provide Warranties
Here’s the key thing to understand: Abundo is primarily a global sourcing platform. We connect you to products from manufacturers and suppliers around the world — but we are not the manufacturer, and we don’t offer our own warranty coverage on top of what a brand provides.
Example: If you buy an electric toothbrush through Abundo and it stops working after 3 months, Abundo itself cannot repair it, replace it under warranty, or issue a “warranty refund” — but the brand that made it might be able to.
2. Does My Product Have Any Warranty at All?
That depends entirely on the manufacturer, not on Abundo. Some brands include a warranty card or documentation in the box; others don’t offer one for products sold internationally. If a warranty does exist, it is the manufacturer’s responsibility — not ours — to honor it.
Example: A power tool sourced from a US brand may come with a 1-year manufacturer warranty that’s valid in the US, but that same warranty might not be honored outside the US, depending on the brand’s policies. We recommend checking the manufacturer’s official website before you buy if a warranty is something you specifically need.
3. What Should I Do If My Product Breaks Under Warranty?
- Check the product box or included documentation for warranty details.
- Visit the manufacturer’s official website to find their warranty claim process.
- Contact the manufacturer directly, or visit an authorized service center in your country, if one exists.
4. What If My Product Arrives Broken — Is That a Warranty Issue?
No — and this is an important distinction. If a product arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered right out of the box, that’s not a warranty matter — it’s covered by our Return & Refund Policy instead, and you have 3–7 days from delivery to report it.
Example: Your blender arrives with a cracked jug straight out of the box — that’s a return/refund situation, handled by Abundo directly, not a warranty claim.
Versus: Your blender works perfectly for two months, then the motor stops — that’s a manufacturer warranty matter (if one applies), handled by the brand, not Abundo.
5. A Quick Way to Remember the Difference
- Arrived broken or wrong? → Abundo’s Return & Refund Policy
- Worked fine, broke later? → Manufacturer’s warranty (if one exists)
